Covid-19 update

 Dear Grace Pointe Church Family,

We are living and working in a truly unprecedented time. Your commitment and leadership are invaluable to your family, friends, and community as well as to the church. With the heightened awareness and public concerns regarding the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), as well as the ongoing seasonal flu virus and common cold, we want to assure you that your health and safety concerns are our highest priority. Yes, we have Faith in God, but He has also given us Wisdom. Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of Coronavirus. Because of this, we have implemented online church services to protect Grace Pointe Church Family and the community while we continue to worship together in Christ. We will not be meeting at Hope City during these Sundays, but we are welcoming you to Join us LIVE online as we broadcast at GPChatt.com (there will be a link available to click to begin watching).

Praise Team

Sunday, March 22nd, 2020

Join us @ 12:45 pm

In all things, we want to keep God’s word at the forefront of our minds and look to Him for HOPE and GUIDANCE. We find great comfort in David’s words in Psalm 62:5-8

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from Him.

Truly He is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress; I will not be shaken.

My salvation and my honor depend on God; He’s my mighty rock, my refuge

Trust in Him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to Him, God is our refuge.

As Grace Pointe Faith Family, we want to stay encouraged and connected as we navigate through this as a community. How can you help?

PRAY. We will be sharing updates via social media so you can keep up with what and how to pray.

WATCH. Join us LIVE online and believe with us for God to move! Don’t forget to share and invite others to join us. We’re believing to reach even more people during this time (outside the walls of the church).

GIVE. Because of your gifts we are able to continue to do the work of the Ministry.

Blessings,

Pastor Marcellus

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)

SIGNS AND SYMPTOMS OF COVID-19

*cough *fever *shortness of breath *chest pain *diarrhea *bluish lips/face

CDC believes that symptoms of COVID-19 may appear in as few as 2 days or as long as 14 days after exposure (this called Incubation Period).

HOW DOES COVID-19 SPREAD

Through respiratory droplets produced from an infected person to another person within 6 ft when they cough or sneeze; touching surfaces or objects that has the virus on it and then touching your mouth, nose, or possibly eyes. Lasts 3 hours in air and 3 days on surfaces.

PREVENTION AND TREATMENT

*avoid close contact with people who are sick *maintain social distancing with those that are well (6 ft) *stay at home when you are sick *cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing with tissue then throw the tissue in the trash *clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a CDC recommended product *wash hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol *CDC recommends to ONLY wear facemask when you have S/S of COVID-19 to help prevent the spread of disease to others or if you are a healthcare worker or caring for someone in close settings (at home or in a health care facility).

THERE IS NO SPECIFIC ANTIVIRAL TREATMENT; SUPPORTIVE CARE TO RELIEVE SYMPTOMS.

THERE HAS BEEN (5) confirmed cases in Hamilton County as of March 19, 2020.

If you experience any S/S and have any questions or concerns contact your medical provider or the local Health Department @ (423) 209-8190.
