I am originally from Memphis, TN. I moved to Chattanooga over half my life ago. Here, got married, had a daughter, then, I completed my Bachelor's from UTC. Then, I had a son about five years later. About two years later, I earned my Master's from TTU, became a woman of Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. I have taught with Hamilton County Schools for 20 years; 16 in the classroom, 2 as a math instructional coach, and in my second year of school administration as an Assistant Principal. During the last 3 years, I also acquired my doctorate in Leadership and Professional Practice at Trevecca Nazarene University. I have attended GracePointe since the beginning. I serve as the leader in the audiovisual ministry; primarily with the visual portion. However, when needed, I extend assistance to the sound portion. My knowledge of the technology, the bible, and songs of worship help make this position run smoother. I enjoy this area of worship tremendously. I enjoy alone time, painting, drawing, shopping, writing, hiking, dining out, traveling, being with my children, and being a child of God.
